CAVINO / WINERY &
DISTILLERY
The CAVINO company has been active in wine and beverages since 1958 and is the Coordinating Body of the TRAINGRAPE partnership. The company will contribute to the evaluation of the viticultural products that will arise in the context of the project from the application of the new cultivation practices as raw materials for winemaking by evaluating the quality characteristics of the final product and the fermentation process in comparison with natural materials that will form the control group. The company’s many years of experience in the field of wine will be an essential factor in the project’s success and the achievement of its goals.

AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS
The Viticulture Laboratory of the Agricultural University of Athens is another key member of the TRAINGRAPE Business Group. With significant experience in the implementation, laboratory, and pilot of viticultural practices, he will be an essential factor in finding new areas for producing quality viticultural products in implementing and evaluating new appropriate education systems and underwriting. In addition, he will enforce, guide, and supervise the application of new viticultural techniques for reduced input and vegetation management. Finally, he will evaluate the effect of all these managements on the quality and quantity of the produced viticultural products.

QLCon
The company PANAS P.- CLAUDATOS SA, with many years of experience in the management and implementation of research and pilot projects, will significantly contribute to the organization of the business team and the division of project activities so that there is a significant contribution from each member of the Team. In addition, the company will contribute to disseminating the project’s results on the broader agri-food sector by organizing conferences and workshops and managing the project’s communication channels.
VINEYARD FARMERS – INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTION OF MAVRODAFNES
The project will involve four individual vintners who will apply the new viticultural techniques and cultivation practices, such as further appropriate training and sub-styling systems, to improve the quality of the products, increasing their yield and reducing inputs. The experience of the winegrowers as well as their contribution to the implementation of cultivation practices, will be a critical factor in the success of the project and its goals and is another crucial link of the TRAINGRAPE Operational Group.
DIMEON AMPELOS IKE
The project will involve four individual vintners who will apply the new viticultural techniques and cultivation practices, such as further appropriate training and sub-styling systems, to improve the quality of the products, increasing their yield and reducing inputs.
